Kaleshwar Temple to be developed as a place of tourism.

The Kaleshwar Temple in Vishnupri near the city is being developed as a tourist spot by spending Rs 23.40 crore under the central government’s mega tourism scheme. For the development of a temple area, the centre has sanctioned a layout.


In the first phase, the works of agriculture information centre, rural produce cell, amphitheatre, development of the Ghat, Fencing wall and parking slots have been completed. 

Under the regional tourism scheme, garden & landscaping and water sports facilities have been provided by incurring an expenditure of Rs 1.62 crore in the Vishnupuri Godavari backwater premises.
