Over 3,000 runners participated in the pre-tests

On the initiative of NYSC and Central Government to train the Indian athletes to compete in the Olympic Games to be held in Tokyo in 2020, the competition was held on January 24 at the Yashwant College ground where about 3,000 participants from Marathwada, Amravati, Pune and other places participated. 

On Wednesday morning, at 9 am on the Yashwant College ground, the international runner known as Savarpada Express, Kavita Raut, Additional Collector Santosh Patil, Madhubala Sabu, District Sports Officer Gangalal Yadav, Principal Jadhav, Rajesh Adhav, Anil Wagh, Mangesh Bakkhale, Education Officer Balwant Joshi, Raje Khanderai Deshmukh, Anirudh Shirsath, Vikrant Khedkar, Lord Nagarajeo, Pralobh Kulkarni In the presence of 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters run, the participants from 11 to 14 and 15 to 17 years of age participated in the test. The participants from Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Parbhani, Hingoli, Osmanabad, Latur, Nanded, eight districts, Pune, Amravati also participated in the selection. About three and a half thousand were involved in this competition.
