Special Teacher booked for misappropriating Rs 13 50 lakh by forging signature

A criminal case was filed against a Special Teacher working at the Social Welfare department for allegedly misappropriating Rs 13.50 lakh by forging signature of the Social Welfare officer.
The alleged accused, Shashikant Dirdikar, while working as a special teacher at a Zilla Parishad SWO Aided school, was deputed at the Social Welfare office when he deposited a cheque of Rs 13.50 lakh in his bank account by forging the signature of the Social Welfare officer during the period.






During verification of the account, the misappropriation of the amount came to light.
A case was filed under sections 420, 470, 471 and 409 of Indian Penal Code at the Vazirabad police station against the accused, sources said.
